A Few Spring Favs!
It’s officially Spring! Well so they say. Since we’re still forced to hibernate it seems the seasons are beginning to run together. Now now, let me not be negative since I’m sure we all have sooo much we can be grateful for. While we’re itching to get outside I figured I’d share some of the things I’ve been swooning over. Let’s begin.
Over-sized Straw Hat - Forever 21
Ok, I have a thing for the dramatics and since last spring I had my eye on one of the most obnoxiously large straw hats. I promised myself I would find it and I did. It was hella expensive and extremely large so I found this beautiful compromise. Not only was it much cheaper, its a more realistic size. Still big though!
Wooden/Natural Earrings - Aldo
I follow this fabulous blogger named Monroe Steele and she has these earrings by Cult Gaia that I am absolutely smitten with. I’ve been on the hunt for those earrings and guess what? Sold out and Expensive! So for a happy medium I stumbled upon these charming hoops. I love them so much more in person.
Glowing Makeup - Juvia’s Place
The more I do my makeup these days, the more I love it. I was just talking to my Auntie Jessica about it and how I try not to buy unnecessary items but let’s be honest. I’m lying, I’m still buying stuff just because it’s pretty. I’m guilty. I have purchased several items from Juvia’s Place already so why not add a few more. I snagged two eyeshadow palettes (The Nudes and The Chocolates), the Tribe Highlighter Vol. 2, and the Festival Liquid Lip matte liquid lipstick in the color Soil.
Sol Body Oil - Colourpop
This slick little combo was one of my Friday Favorites! Since we’ve been closed up for so long, this will add just the right amount of glow we need. I picked the shade caramel.
Perfume- Idole by Lancome and Light Di Gioia by Armani
While my sister and I were perusing our local Ulta, she was looking for this fragrance she wanted called Idole by Lancome and thought I should smell it! Remember, It’s hard for me to find a good perfume that agrees with me so I reluctantly took a whiff. In love. Instantly. Another one that feels like warmth and good weather to me is Light Di Gioia.
Eucalyptus Mint Soap and Essential Oil - Nourish
This light scented wonder is locally made at a shop here in downtown Savannah called Nourish. I have never met a fragrance that I thought was more refreshing. I recently got in my favorite glycerin bars and a couple bottles of the essential oils for my oil diffuser.
Seasonal Flats - Forever 21 and Amazon
My feet are slowly thanking me for this transition out of high heeled shoes so I grabbed these flats to kick start my comfort. The Forever 21 slides I got mainly for running around town and to go with the swimsuits that we will one day wear. These cool white rocker stud Valentino inspired shoes was the closest I will get to wearing a white sandal. I know, I know. I’ll grow up one day and take the leap but today is not that day!
Thanks everyone for listening and I’m praying that you and your families are safe and sound.
Until next time,
-K
